High Level Overview

As of 8:00a.m. E.T., February 3, 2025:

The Palisades and Eaton fires — along with several smaller blazes — have burned a combined 57,000 acres in Los Angeles County have been 100% contained.
Air quality remains poor across much of Los Angeles County, and health officials have urged people to take precautions, including avoiding outdoor activity if possible and wearing N-95 masks.
According to PowerOutage.us, there are over 16,000 customers without power as of January 27 – which is a major decrease over the past two weeks.

Premier created a comprehensive report covering healthcare and supply chain impacts, response efforts and key updates.

Southern California is battling multiple wildfires, including the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lidia, and Sunset fires, which have collectively burned tens of thousands of acres. High winds and dry conditions have fueled the rapid spread of these fires, forcing the evacuation of over 80,000 residents and causing significant damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure. The Palisades fire alone has consumed over 17,000 acres, while the Eaton fire has burned more than 10,000 acres, with red flag warnings in place across Los Angeles and Ventura counties. As firefighters work to contain the blazes, officials warn of continued risks from extreme fire behavior and wind-driven spread.
