Premier, Inc. has appointed Dr. Emad Rizk as CEO, President and Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.
Dr. Rizk brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as CEO, President and Chairman of Cotiviti, where he led the company's growth into a multibillion-dollar, technology-enabled platform focused on payment accuracy, cost management and value-based care. He has also held senior roles at R1 RCM and McKesson Health Solutions, and has been recognized multiple times by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare.
Dr. Rizk's background spans health systems, analytics, and technology-enabled services — experience that positions him well to build on Premier's strengths as providers face growing pressure to improve cost, quality and operational performance.
